Lapsang Souchong – Smoked Tea

A specialty tea of the Fujian province in China. In the final stage of production the tea is hung in baskets over smoking pine wood fires to dry. The intensely black leaves give a dark red liquor (infusion) that has a distinctive smoky aroma and taste.

Tea Origin: China
Preparation: Use filtered and freshly boiled water 100°C
Allow 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per 200ml cup +1 for the pot. Infuse for 3-5 min.
