English Breakfast Tea

Our English Breakfast tea is a traditional blend of large leaf Ceylon and Assam teas. This tea has been specially blended to be enjoyed at any time of the day with a dash of milk. The infusion is golden-brown with a rich aroma and flavour.

Origin: Sri Lanka and India
Tea Leaf Grade:
OP – Orange Pekoe (Large Leaf)
FBOP – Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe

Preparation:
Use filtered and freshly boiled water 100°C
Allow 1 heaped teaspoon of tea per 300ml cup +1 for the pot.
Infuse for 2-3 min without milk
4-5 min with milk

Did you know? Drinking a blend of black tea with milk has been a tradition in the UK for quite some time! Some records date the first commercially sold blends to the early 1800s!
